Pete Austel is the Senior Pastor of Madera Baptist Church. He provides general guidance and leadership at MBC and is responsible for the preaching and teaching of God’s Word on Sunday mornings. He is married to his wife, Linda.
Jason Laird is an Associate Pastor at Madera Baptist Church. Jason and his wife, Kathy, are preparing to serve the Lord as missionaries in Togo, West Africa, in Aviation Ministry. They are currently building up their financial support and will be leaving for missions training just as soon as the Lord sees fit. Jason and Kathy have two young children.
Dan Freeman is the Chairman of the Deacon Board and was raised attending Madera Baptist Church. Dan is married to Shelli, who is our church’s office secretary.
Bill Jones is one of our Deacons. Bill also serves as one of the Sunday morning greeters, along with his wife, Bea.
Colin Bell is one of our Deacons. Colin is married to his wife, Joyce.
Shelli Freeman is the office secretary. She is married to Dan and currently homeschools their children.
